This experiment is to identify the effect of aid combined with strength exercise and massage affecting muscle injury marker and insulin-like growth factor: IGF-1. Therefore, there were Experimental Group (EG) and Control Group (CG) to identify the effect of the experimental aid. Each aided for 60 minutes, 40 minutes of strength exercise and 20 minutes of massage program, total 24 strength exercises, 3 times a week, for 8 weeks. Through this process we could see there is interactive effect on ammonia, phosphorus, creatine kinase, and lactate dehydrogenase, which are muscle injury markers. There is also interactive effect on IGF-1, which is insulin-like growth factor. As a result, aid combined with strength exercise and massage has a positive effect on muscle injury marker and IGF-1.Keywords

Objectives: To investigate the changes in lumbar extension strength and subjective pain after 8 weeks of isotonic rehabilitation exercise. The research subjects were women in their 30s who live in Korea who have been diagnosed with scoliosis in which subjects who desired participation in the 8 week long isometric rehabilitation exercise program were selected. Methods/Statistical Analysis: The program was performed 3 times a week for 8 weeks for 60 minutes per session. The program was composed of 10 minutes of warming up, 40 minutes of main exercise, and 10 minutes of cooling down. Upper body and lower body focused stretching was conducted for warming up and cooling down exercises. Dumbell exercise, barbell exercise, elastic band, foam roller, swiss ball, and stepper were used in this exercise. PASW 18.0 statistical program was used on the pre-test and post-test data to identify the effect of 8 week treatment. Descriptive statistics was suggested for each measurement period and dependent t-test was applied to find the treatment effect. Findings: Through this process, lumbar extension strength 0 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. , lumbar extension strength 12 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. , lumbar extension strength 24 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. , lumbar extension strength 36 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. , lumbar extension strength 48 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. , lumbar extension strength 60 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. , lumbar extension strength 72 degree showed significant effect between pre and post with p<.01. Subjective pain such as VAS showed significant effects as well. Improvements/Applications: Extension exercise strength the inter-body posterior extensor, extends the abdomen and reduces the pressure on the spinal discs. On the other hand, flexion exercise strengthens the abdominal muscles, develops the inter-body posterior extensor and flexor, reduces the pressure on the nerve ischolar_mains and helps enhance the para-spinal muscles. Therefore, the components of isotonic rehabilitation exercise programs based on extension and flexion are highly applicable to patients with scoliosis. Keywords
